16 days to short term hell

i can't believe it was 2 months ago when i updated my blog

i guess time really does fly

then, i was having a holiday

now, pressure's gone up

fun's gone down

and we're just 16 days away from trials

i wonder how everybody else is fairing? 

though, it had to be a short wondering 

before i'm back with my books

anyways, an update on the past two months

well, it was a big disappointment with the movie "the last airbender"

bad introduction

bad flow of the story line

lousy dialogue

lousy acting 

obviously the actors aren't even fans of the cartoon series

i mean seriously

if the movie is based on, say a book or a cartoon series

the actors gotta be super fans

or at least know their character extremely well

even daniel radcliffe reads harry potter novels

anyway, on with the criticism

can't even get the names right

it's so frustrating to keep on hearing aang becoming ung

everytime someone called ung

i'd call back aang

special effects look impressive 

but it's not coherent with the moves

the benders move a lot

but the elements just moved an inch or so

zuko's scar isn't obvious enough

katara looks weird

sokka became suka

plus he ain't funny =.=

there's a lot more i'd like to say about this movie

but i'm too lazy to list out everything

the only plausible character in the movie

was yue

now she's the closest to her counterpart

yippie, one good thing

there's still book 2 and book 3 

but m.night shyamalan's taken a lot from it and put it in book 1,

i hope whoever it is who continues the movie

is not him

=)

after i watched it,

i went straight to my dvd case

pull out book 3

and started cleansing my memory

ahh

that's much better than keeping it in my chest

besides watching that movie,

i watched despicable me,

not that's a meaningful movie

fatherhood

nice and funny~

even nicer when i watched with an old friend of mine ;)

besides movies, i don't think i have anything to update upon except

i'm a retired president  of vball club

not going to vball practices until the end of spm

not going for driving lessons until end of spm or trials

constantly adding weight to my eye bags
oh yeah, and the pmo concert was THE BOMB!
living up to expectations!

and i think that's it

so yeah, it's time for me to hit the books

*whack*

3rd day of the hols

i went to 1U today 

just as i said in the previous post

did karaoke, a movie and a bit of a walking around

it was quite an nice day

beats sitting in front of the computer anyway

well this is the movie we watched

 it was quite an okay movie

had a few funny scenes in it

have loads of action

but wasn't mind-blowing
but at least it's worth watching

nothing really big about it

I'm more excited about the following movies coming out

this one cause i love the cartoon series

isn't it cool to be able to manipulate the 4 elements?

next is :

no need to explain right?

the toys are awesome!

and pixar too!

can't wait for these movies to be on the big screen

especially the last airbender

i hope it'll be nice

and not like the harry potter movies

too short and compressed :(

well

from today onwards

i won't have a lot of chances to go online anymore

cause dad will be back from Singapore tomorrow

so yeah, don't expect a lot of updates

2nd day of the hols

went for vball practice this morning

dad wasn't home

so yeah, went for it

been so long since i've played

three weeks i think

when i started simple digging

my heart was like

squeezing with all its might

it's lucky i still did physical training when i wasn't playing

or i would be on the floor gasping for breath

had a few matches with the young ones and the old ones

had a few nice spikes, but more of good serves :)

reactions slowed down though :(

but all in all

it was a good morning

dreading to do the add maths project

i don't even know how to start

ZZzzzz. . .

guess i'll wait for dad to come home

cause the question is a bit about buildings

dad might be able to give some pointers

nothing much to say actually

going to 1U with a group of friends tomorrow

i hope the holidays would be a lot more eventful

or i'd be wishing school to reopen and regret later XD

oh, one more thing

personally,

i like PMO

cause i like the chinese sounds

they have been practicing for months now

i'm sure they'll give their all to entertain us

it'd be great

so go for it!

term's over! let's not count tomorrow

exam is just over

it has been quite stressful

but it's all over now and at last we can take a breather

learned loads these few weeks

and these lessons aren't easy to come by

only a fool like me could ever get those at a time like this

it's a harsh world when feelings are concerned

loving someone is probably the most difficult thing to do

even harder when your love was brushed aside

with just a flick of a finger

 

 funny how these things stick in our minds

and come out all at the wrong time

it's absolutely maddening

but that's life

it's all part of growing up

 

all i gotta say to her is

good luck

and

thanks for letting me love you

even if you didn't love me back

took a while to calm my mind

but with the help of a friend

it's a lot easier

otherwise i might be stuck in a situation

i wouldn't wanna be

so i sincerely thank you :)

oh, and during this time

this movie was awesome

gave loads of pointers

amid in a funny way

 

 

anyways

so holiday's just a day away

my plan has already been written out by my dad

and it spells

S-T-U-D-Y

yeah, that's right

though this time

there's no need for staying up late

just "keep the momentum going"

though occasionally

i am allowed to go out

either for volleyball or movies (yay!)

 

for sports,

i'm not gonna be as hardcore 

as i was before msss was over

now that it has

there isn't a good enough reason

to go all out now

not when it's only 5 months away from the BIG day

plus i'm still struggling

so yeah, gonna put a big comma on sports

well, now that's all i can think about updating on my life

i wanna wish you all a very enjoyable holiday
